Anthony Michael

Anthony comes to Square One with 25 years of experience in the translation field, working primarily with the Quebec market. He has worked in various sectors, including retail, government, and real estate. Prior to joining Square One in 2020, Anthony was the corporate translator at Century 21 Canada.

At Square One, Anthony has translated a variety of content, including the website, chatbot and policy documentation. He also researches and writes original content for Square One’s auto and home insurance resource centres.

He holds a BA Honours degree in French language, literature and linguistics from Carleton University in Ottawa (1994) and an MA in Translation from York University in Toronto (2002). He also holds a general insurance level 1 license in BC. In addition to French and English, Anthony speaks Spanish and Greek.

Seamus has been with Square One since 2019, having written and edited hundreds of articles, video scripts, and other content in that time. He has 15 years’ experience in marketing, with a background in multimedia advertising, technical writing, and personal insurance content. He writes for Square One’s online resources, and works closely with the rest of the marketing team to deliver top-quality content.

Seamus has a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication, a diploma in Broadcast and Media Communications, and an Associate Certificate in Business Administration. He currently holds a general insurance level 1 license in BC and an OTL license in Ontario.

As a newcomer to Square One, Ziyad brings over two years of marketing experience. He has previously worked with startups in the eCommerce, SaaS, and non-profit sectors, focusing primarily on branding, strategic writing, and organic content creation. He’s created content for paid media campaigns as well.

Ziyad holds a BBA in Marketing from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. Although new to insurance, he’s quickly adapted to publishing high-quality articles for Square One and works with the marketing team on other content-related projects. He currently holds a general insurance level 1 license in BC.
